The PG&E Energy Savings Assistance Program  (formally the Energy Partners Program)  is designed to provide to its qualified, low-income Customers Energy Education and Energy Efficiency Services in order to reduce the Customers’ gas and electricity usage and reduce hardship without sacrificing comfort. PG&E’s Energy Partners Program is designed to meet both the requirements of Public Utilities Code Section 2790 including the modifications made to Public Utilities Code Section 2790 by Assembly Bill 1393, effective January 1, 2000 and directives from the CPUC. The Energy Partners Program is directed specifically to PG&E customers on the California Alternate Rate for Energy (“CARE”) and other low-income Customers.
